The purpose of the Chalokwu Fund is to support undergraduate or graduate student travel for students in Africa, working on any aspect of African geology, to attend and present their research at GSA’s annual meeting.

The Charles Lum Drake International Grant provides grants for the benefit of geoscientists, including students, under the age of 40, and not residents of the U.S., to underwrite costs of attendance at meetings and symposia with international relevance.
