AMQUA Fund

The purpose of the Fund is to provide funds for financial awards to individuals to recognize achievements in the field of Quaternary science – specifically the Grimm Award for Excellence in Open Science and Data Stewardship and Gaudreau Award in Quaternary Geology – and possible additional awards as permitted by fund availability, as well as other purposes supporting functions of the American Quaternary Association. Awards will be made by the Quaternary Geology and Geomorphology Division (QG&G) of the Geological Society of America (GSA), through a process determined by QG&G’s Management Board.
