GSA’s Soils & Soil Processes Division (est. 2018) was formerly GSA’s first Interdisciplinary Interest Group (IIG) created to link the existing geological disciplines of Hydrogeology, Quaternary Geology and Geomorphology, Sedimentary Geology, Engineering Geology, and Planetary Geology.
